Kayla Hanson

Production/Logistics Assistant

Kayla Hanson (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist with a BA in Theatre Arts from Boise State University. She has an inclination for art that is movement-based, experimental, and that aims to rethink modes of storytelling. She’s a Third Rail Repertory Theatre company member as well as a founding member of the Red Balloon Artist Collective. RBAC is a female-led ensemble of movers and shakers who have produced four productions and multiple community storytelling events since their inception in 2017. She's performed in Portland with Shaking the Tree Theatre, Third Rail Repertory Theatre, Rutabaga Story Co.,Theatre Vertigo, and RBAC. In her free time she enjoys trying out new recipes in the kitchen, dancing, cake-decorating, and creating narrative-based playlists.
